Gathering Voices

In this one week workshop, students explored 2D and 3D art techniques. The final group creation was a tile based “memory quilt” using an array of materials; paper, cloth, leaves, feathers, and discarded toys…symbolic or sentimental or prosaic objects were shared among the class. Students rolled, wrapped and bundled items into a tile form that lends itself to meditation.
